Eagles fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 15-1 loss to North Ridgeville on Wednesday. North Ridgeville scored on an error and a fielder’s choice during M Knight’s at bat in the first inning.

North Ridgeville scored eight runs in the second inning. The big inning for North Ridgeville came thanks to singles by S Wingeier, H Ables, and A Lengel, a home run by D Baker, and an error on a ball put in play by E Lime.
Chloe Simko earned the win for North Ridgeville. She went five innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out two and walking one.
Rachel Adams took the loss for Eagles. She allowed ten hits and 12 runs over two and two-thirds innings.
Gillian Gallagher, Sydney Sukenik, Abbey Healan, and Abby Rigda all had one hit to lead Eagles.
North Ridgeville totaled 16 hits. Baker, Lengel, M Seidl, and Wingeier each collected multiple hits for North Ridgeville. Baker went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead North Ridgeville in hits. North Ridgeville didn’t commit a single error in the field. Knight had the most chances in the field with five.
