Scholar Athletes

Southwestern Conference – winter 2017-18

This winter I am proud to announce that we have 10 scholar athletes to honor. These athletes will receive a beautiful medallion with the SWC insignia on it. The criterion for the scholar athlete award is a follows: all senior athletes will be considered first, student must maintain a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, the individual must have received a varsity letter, and the student/athlete must have a good record of sportsmanship.

Season Highlights – Participated in the Avon Lake Dance Showcase, dance team routine combination with Special Edition Choir did a contemporary dance/ vocal performance.

Thank you for another entertaining halftime season. You had many memorable routines.  Thank you, dance team, for showing everyone what hard work truly means.  Dancers invest hundreds of hours into practicing for just a few incredible minutes on the performance floor.  The entire North Olmsted community appreciates you sharing your love of dance through your performances.

Congratulations Shannon Winchester on a successful season and on bringing back the gymnastics program for the 2017-18 winter sports season.  Shannon was a OHSAA District qualifier on the beam.  She recorded a 9.0 at the sectional meet to advance to the OHSAA district meet.
