Former North Olmsted Eagle Pitcher Ryan Dennick (’05) had his childhood dreams become a reality when he was given the call up to make his Major League debut on September 2, 2014. Following his tenure at North Olmsted, Ryan would go on to attend Tennessee Tech for two years and help the Golden Eagles win an Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship and a birth at NCAA Regionals. Helping Tennessee Tech win its third OVC Championship led to him hearing his name called in the 22nd round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals. After six grinding seasons in the minors, Ryan had his dreams come true in September of 2014 by making his big league debut for the Cincinnati Reds.
